Toastie is not a toastie

Hi - Just purchased this at the Vancouver Home Show - Looked like it was a good product - easy to use. Unfortunately the product does not toast evenly, and the cheese does not melt unless you put a very thin slice. I tried flipping the sandwich after 1 min as we were told but it still did not work as good as the oven or fry pan. For the price, it a hard pass on this product.

bought 3 toasties at the vancouver home and garden show, and it was the biggest mistake made. My expectations were high, and reading other reviews, thought it would work, but unfortunately it just turned from soggy to crisp. Yes, the cheese melted in the grilled cheese, but it was not edible afterwards. Trying to return the product, but cannot find the email to do so. Leaving my email, so please get in touch. Left a review already but was taken down, and only positive reviews left up. Hmmmmm.

does not work as well as stated.

bought 3 of them at the home and garden show, and they looked terrific, there, but when tried at home, the bread is soggy, and sure the cheese melts for the grilled cheese sandwich, but not to where it is better than just grilling the sandwich yourself.
Would I recommend this product, no, I definitely would not. Trying to find an email so as to return them, but none on website.
